When it comes to creating an intensive thermal bond between a flat, hot surface and thin or flexible materials, this vacuum table is a solution that can also meet demanding requirements.
With a peak temperature of 200°C, it fulfils practically all requirements for processing modern plastics or for rapid curing of paints, inks or resins. Printing, laminating and coating are typical areas of application for this tool. Thanks to the solid aluminium body, a very homogeneous temperature distribution can be achieved right up to the edge zones after only a short warm-up phase.
The vacuum table consists of tempered cast aluminium and is therefore almost stress-free. This ensures stable dimensional stability over the long term. All metals expand when heated. For aluminium, the thermal expansion coefficient is about 0.024mm per degree and metre of length. With a temperature difference of well over 170° that can be easily achieved with this table, this is a parameter that should be taken into account for precise work. Modern pressure programs, for example, have adjustable scaling factors with which this effect can be adjusted.
For applications with relatively high leakage, if necessary, suction air coolers are available in our range to protect connected vacuum pumps. The scope of delivery includes a programmable temperature controller. A PT100 temperature sensor is integrated in the vacuum table to record the actual value. The connected load of 230V / 50Hz, with 2.1kW enables immediate use, without special requirements on existing power supplies.
